Converse files bankruptcy, but Chuck Taylors live on
NORTH READING, Massachusetts (CNN) -- A bit of classic Americana is leaving the United States. The Chuck Taylor All Star, the legendary high-top shoe from Converse -- the company that put sneakers on the map -- will no longer be "Made in the United States."
