Program Overview

In partnership with Time Magazine, now celebrating its 80th anniversary, CNN presents a unique documentary special looking at some of the most memorable and world-changing events of the last eight decades. In this illuminating hour, CNN Presents explores the impact of the Hays office, which brought censorship to the movies. It looks at the founding of the State of Israel and the arrival of the birth control pill to the world's mass market. It gets inside Watergate, which remade the American presidency, and the fall of the Berlin Wall, which reordered the world. In this landmark CNN/Time special, CNN Presents Classroom Edition looks at 80 Days that Changed the World.

Grade Level: 10-12
