LONDON, England (CNN) -- European champions AC Milan retained first place on the latest CNN/World Soccer Top 10 club rankings -- with Italian rivals Juventus second.

In-form Milan enjoyed their third win in 16 days over Serie A leaders AS Roma 2-1 in the second leg of their Italian Cup quarterfinal on Thursday for a 4-2 aggregate triumph.

Milan have won their last five games -- the same as Juve -- with Roma climbing to sixth in the ratings after victory over Sampdoria completed an impressive first half of the season.

English champions Manchester United slipped three places to fifth after their shock defeat at Wolverhampton and are below Arsenal, 2-0 winners at Aston Villa and back in the Premiership lead.

Spanish champions Real Madrid stay after drawing at Real Betis while Primera Liga Valencia ease to 10th after a goalless draw at Valladolid.

Boca Juniors, the Argentine and Intercontinental champions, fall three places and Brazil's Cruzeiro drop two.

The weekly CNN/World Soccer Top 10 is compiled by staff from CNN's World Sport show along with the team at World Soccer magazine.
