Acimovic finalises Lille loan move
PARIS, France (Reuters) -- Tottenham Hotspur's Slovenia midfielder Milenko Acimovic has finalised a six-month loan deal to Lille , the French Ligue 1 club said on Friday.
"Negotiations were tough but Acimovic really wants to move to Lille to break the deadlock he is in at Tottenham," the French club said on its website.
The 26-year-old, who has 37 caps for his country, joined the north London club from Red Star Belgrade in 2002 but has not made a Premier League start this season.
Lille, 14th in the 20-team Ligue 1 standings, moved for Acimovic after playmaker Christophe Landrin suffered a double break of a leg in a league match against Toulouse last weekend.
