From: CNN Subject: No Trial Date Set In McDougal Case No trial date was set today at a hearing for Whitewater figure Susan McDougal, who faces trial on charges of embezzling $150,000 from conductor Zubin Mehta and his wife when she worked for them as an assistant from 1989 to 1992. Today's hearing was held in the judge's chambers. Another pre-trial hearing was scheduled for Dec. 12. The judge said a trial date would be set within 60 days of that hearing. McDougal, who appeared in court wearing a cream-colored suit, is being held in a federal detention facility in Los Angeles for a Sept. 9, 1996, civil contempt citation relating to her refusal to testify before a grand jury looking into the Whitewater land scandal. McDougal was held in a federal detention facility in Carswell, Texas, until November 1996 when she was transferred to Los Angeles to face the embezzlement charges. In Other News:Friday Nov. 14, 1997
