From Correspondent Dan Ronan
ATLANTA (CNN) -- Summer is the time for theme parks -- the
roller coasters, cotton candy, and dazzling technical
wonders. Small wonder then that theme parks are popping up on
the World Wide Web.
Wonderful world of Disney
The theme park of theme parks has to be named Disney. The
Disney Web site has elaborate pages for
Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida --
as well as Disney Tokyo.
The site offers basic ideas of the rides and hotels at the
parks, and how much they cost. There's an online ticket
purchase page, and the site offers virtual tours of the
parks.

Pick a park
They promise big thrills, and Busch Gardens and Sea World
have The Land 4 Adventure -- a page designed
to show you how to have a good time at their many parks.
With the Adventurator, you give a little information about
your likes and needs, and it picks a theme park tour you'll
never forget.
The page comes with simulations. prices and maps to show you
how to get there.

Where no one has gone before
But for an out-of-this-world experience, Star Trek: The
Experience opens at the Las Vegas Hilton this summer.
Its Web page has some sneak previews of
the project and behind-the-scenes looks at construction. The
park will house the Star Trek museum and a shuttle ride to
the bridge of the Enterprise for the start of an adventure.
And at the end of the day, head for the Promenade of
Federation outpost Deep Space Nine for a restful visit in the
Ferengi Quark's bar.
