DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: First, in our "CNN 20" segment, a look back at the legacy of George Burns. (BEGIN VIDEOTAPE) (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) MILES O'BRIEN, CNN ANCHOR: George Burns did everything: vaudeville, radio, TV, movies, music, nightclubs and books for 90 of his 100 years. Burns died today... (END VIDEO CLIP) LAUREN SYDNEY, CNN LOS ANGELES CORRESPONDENT: George Burns was god. This was an amazing spirit, an amazing man. He did much more than make us laugh. He gave us hope that when you reach a certain age you are still living with every ounce of energy that you have. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP, "18 Again") GEORGE BURNS, ACTOR: What can I wish for? I've got everything a man could want. (END VIDEO CLIP) SYDNEY: He always played George Burns. He was George Burns playing George Burns. But you know what, that's a good role. The best part about George Burns right now is, you can ask people of any age and they will smile when they think about him, and whether it was his television show or one of his films, everyone has a favorite George Burns, and it doesn't matter what generation. He was multigenerational, and any performer that does that in my book is tops. He just kept reinventing himself, and we, as his fans, were there to just embrace every single project. And I miss him. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) BURNS: This is my third (ph) star. If I get another star, I get to keep the sidewalk.
