Olympic bombing suspect hires lawyer
FBI collects fingerprints, hair samples

ATLANTA (CNN) -- Richard Jewell, a suspect in the bombing of Centennial Olympic Park, has hired an attorney known for his work in criminal trials.
Prominent Atlanta lawyer Jack Martin told CNN he is joining civil lawyer Watson Bryant, who has represented Jewell since he was named a suspect Tuesday.
Jewell has not been charged in the July 27 bombing, which killed one person and injured more than 100.
Jewell worked as a security guard at the park and alerted authorities to the abandoned knapsack which contained the pipe bomb.
For the first time since his name became public, Jewell left his apartment Sunday afternoon, to meet with Martin and Bryant. The attorneys said that on Monday morning they will ask the U.S. Attorney to unseal the search warrant used to gather potential evidence in several locations where Jewell lived and worked.
On Saturday, FBI agents went to Jewell's apartment to fingerprint him and clip hair samples. Sources told CNN the FBI will compare the samples with evidence gathered from a pay phone area where a warning call to a 911 operator was made shortly before the explosion.
FBI agents had asked for a tape recording of Jewell's voice but were turned down by his lawyer. "I need to look at what they wanted to do and make sure they're allowed to do it," Bryant said.
Investigators declined to comment on reports that an analysis comparing his voice to the 911 recording found no apparent similarities.
